Save the Earth

Introduced in the early 70’s, Save the Earth^®, as a movement, is touted as the pioneer of environmental causes. The Save the Earth Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit environmental organization was incorporated in the 80’s and has dedicated itself to the expansion of environmental awareness in our society. One of the very first sponsorships was to Dr. Roger Revelle, of UC San Diego, who has been credited for his research that was the basis for Al Gore’s book An Inconvenient Truth. The primary mission of The Save the Earth Foundation is to raise environmental consciousness and for funding ecological research and education at colleges and universities. Royalties generated from the licensing program will be recycled back to the Foundation.
